The Siegel Institute Speaker’s Bureau features business professionals, ethicists, and educators who speak at events in a broad range of venues.
Each has diverse knowledge and expertise relevant to current social issues and topics of business concern in the areas of leadership, ethics and character.

Tom Creely, Ph.D. tcreely@kennesaw.edu
Ethicist, leadership management specialist, and experienced university faculty, Dr. Tom Creely is a humanities and business professional. He has a strong background in research, community development, crisis intervention, International operations in diverse cultures, and in developing quality of life initiatives. He has supervised and mentored Naval Officers and enlisted personnel in the Marine Corps, and served on the Secretary of the Navy's task force. Tom is a certified Axiometrics Consultant and authorized provider of CEU by International Association for Continuing Education and Training. He has developed and taught professional continuing education and training curricula in ethics, conflict resolution, strategic planning, religious diversity, and more. He earned his Ph.D. from Salve Regina University, his MBA and BBA from University of Mississippi and his MDIV from New Orleans Theological Seminary. At the Siegel Institute, Tom develops curriculum and teaches courses in the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Ethics program and the Ethical Leadership Certificate non-degree program. He also spearheads initiatives to take Siegel Institute programs into Atlanta-area communities as well as into national programs.

Lois Robley, Ph.D. lrobley@kennesaw.edu
Dr. Lois Robley has 28 years of teaching experience, five of which she served as the WellStar Distinguished Scholar in Ethics, and 18 of which she has served at Kennesaw State University's College of Health and Human Services as Professor of Nursing. Since July 2007, she has served the Siegel Institute as a full-time faculty member as professor of Ethics as well as Assistant Director of the Institute. She teaches the Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Ethics Program, as well as the non-degree Ethical Leadership Certificate Program. She serves an active role as a speaker for Siegel Institute events as well as community events and health care conferences. She is a researcher and writer of ethics articles for Institute and other publications. In 2003, she was awarded with the WellStar Distinguished Scholar in Ethics. She earned her Ph.D. from Georgia State University in Nursing Education in 1998. Her research, publications, community service, and excellence in teaching has won numerous recognitions and awards throughout her career.

Deborah Roebuck became Executive Director of the Siegel Institute for Leadership, Ethics & Character in January 2006, bringing over 25 years experience as an educator, business consultant, speaker, and author. As an active consultant, teacher, and speaker to business, civic, and academic groups, she engages people of all walks of life in SILEC’s initiatives of building ethical leaders from the inside out around the world. She has authored four books and published over 25 articles. Deborah received her Ph.D. in Business Communication from Georgia State University, and holds a lifetime teaching certification from the states of Missouri and Iowa. Prior to joining SILEC, she served as chair of the Department of Leadership and Professional Development and director of the Executive MBA Program in the Coles College of Business at KSU. Deborah is the recipient of numerous recognitions including the 2007 Writer of the Year Award from the National League of American Pen Women, and Outstanding Teaching Award from Coles as a professor of organizational behavior, communication, leadership, and management.

Dr. Betty L. Siegel, the first woman to head an institution in the 35-unit University System of Georgia, and the longest serving woman president of a public university in the nation, is a highly acclaimed leader, speaker, and educator. She has been the recipient of numerous local and national awards and honors, and has been named five times by Georgia Trend Magazine as " one of the most influential Georgians."
Dr. Siegel served as president of Kennesaw State from 1981 until July of 2006. Under her administration, the university evolved from a four-year college to its current university status. In 2002, she established the Center for Leadership, Ethics & Character which was renamed in 2005 in her honor. As President Emeritus since 2006, she also holds the Siegel Institute Distinguished Chair where she continues an array of special initiatives with a global perspective on social responsibility and excellence in leadership education. Her signature program is the Oxford Conclave on Global Ethics, endorsed by Stephen R. Covey and Frances Hesselbein. She is the co-author of Becoming an Invitational Leader: A New Approach to Professional and Personal Success, with Dr. William W. Purkey.
